I plead with thee
Give me strength to see another day
To make it through another night
To meet your needs
Say and do the things
I am supposed to
To read the Bible and pray
To help someone today
To be there for others
To give thanks and be graceful
To watch what I do and say
To not think of myself
Be selfish or mean
Not be stubborn and not listen
Be like the angels above
Shining bright, always ready to help

Help me make it through the gates of gold
To have Jesus wrap me in his love
To guide me and tell me what to do

It is not much, but what I have
I know you can make it more
