A shot rings out
A scream is heard
Women are crying
Children are scared

How safe you think you are
Anything can happen
In the blink of an eye
War is all around us
So many people hate
Kill for no reason
The bomb goes off
People are dying
No one seems to care
Children walking along
All alone
When the bombs come
So many are killed
So much hurt and pain
That's what bombs are far
You live in fear
From day to day
Not knowing
